From 6th of May this summer, Ryan Air will begin connecting Osijek and Frankfurt airport with its low budget airfare deals. This is the first flight connection Ryan air is introducing to Osijek airport. The flights connecting airport Osijek and Frankfurt will be scheduled two times a week on Thursday and Sunday. The representatives of Ryan Air are expecting a huge increase of travelers in Osijek airport who will take advantage of the low cost airfare deals.

The airfare price on line Osijek – Frankfurt will start from Eur 19 for one way.  It is interesting to mention that Ryan Air is connecting 144 destinations in 26 countries with more than 1,100 daily departures. Also, till the end of March 2009, Ryan Air will expand its fleet wit 195 new Boeing 737-800.

Even though everyone was expecting Ryan Air to start their cooperation with Osijek airport by connecting it with London airports, this solution was more interesting for both sides. They feel that more travelers will will be interested in flight to and from Frankfurt than to and from London.

Ryan Air and Osijek airport have signed a five year deal connecting Osijek airport during summer season, but there are strong indications that these low budget flights will be available during the entire year.
