Lying on a small peninsula surrounded by city walls and fortresses, Korčula is one of the most beautiful medieval cities on the Adriatic Coast. Korcula is entirely covered in pine forest so the Greeks named the island Korkyra Melaina, meaning “Black Korčula”. Famous traveler Marko Polo was born there or so many believe. We tour its charming streets to magnificent Cathedral of St Mark who is the city’s patron saint. There are a lot of squares with Renaissance palaces, town loggia which can be seen along the way. The excursion by boat will takes you to Korčula sailing along the island of Mljet and Elaphite islands.
