Canoe Safari

canoe-safari-dubrovnikThis adventure takes us on the Trebižat River in the picturesque karsts areas of Herzegovina.

Enjoy the ride on its pristine waters and views at the beautiful canyon with waterfalls. After short instructions by our experienced canoeist we start an 11- km long track down the river, calm and quiet at the beginning turning into gentle rapids. After passing a half of the track, we will make a stop at the picnic spot to relax and swim, enjoy the beauty of the landscape and have a barbecue lunch. Relaxed and refreshed, we resume our paddling downstream to Struga, the final point of our river adventure.

Explore Mostar – Oriental Heritage

mostar-excursionHaving experienced different historical development over the centuries this area has remained the meeting place of cultures and religions with traces clearly visible today. Drive to Neum along the coast, then inlands through the picturesque Neretva River Delta up to Mostar. During the Turkish rule, the city developed on the banks of the river as an important trade center on caravan routes.
We tour the old city of Mostar included in 2005 on the UNESCO`s World Heritage List, with its graceful Old Bridge with a single span, colorful Bazaar with traditional handicrafts, Mosque and a typical Turkish house. On our way back we stop at the fortress-town Počitelj, a well preserved example of oriental architecture perched on a hillside above the river.

Tour to Mljet Island- Croatia

explore-mljetThe island of Mljet is one of the most beautiful islands on the Adriatic Coast with two amazing salt-water lakes, peaceful bays and small fisherman villages. In 1960 the western part of the island was proclaimed a national park.
Take a pathway through the thick pine forest leading to the Small Lake and the Great Lake to enjoy the air full of fragrances of the Mediterranean vegetation. Boat ride over the Great Lake to the islet of St Mary for a visit to the magnificent Benedictine Abbey founded in the 12th century by Apulia Benedictines. This secluded abbey was a dwelling place to a number of prominent Benedictine writers and scientists. Take time at leisure to swim in the pristine waters of the lakes or stroll around.

Explore Korcula Island

explore-korculaLying on a small peninsula surrounded by city walls and fortresses, Korčula is one of the most beautiful medieval cities on the Adriatic Coast. Covered in dense pine forest, the island was named Korkyra Melaina, meaning “Black Korčula”, by the Greeks in the 3rd century B.C. It is considered to be the birthplace of Marco Polo, famous world traveler. We tour its charming streets and squares with Renaissance palaces, town loggia and magnificent Cathedral of St Mark, the city’s patron saint.
This excursion also includes a drive across the picturesque peninsula of Pelješac, famous wine-growing area, with a stop in Prizdrina for a wine tasting.

Fish Picnic on Elaphites – Dubrovnik Islands
