Ryan air is already connecting Zadar airport with airports in London, Dublin and Edinburgh and from 1st of April 2009 Ryan air will begin connecting Zadar airport with Scandinavia. With regular flights two times a week, on Wednesday and Saturday, Zadar airport will now be connected with Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Naturally, Ryan air will provide it’s passengers with cheap flight tickets on these lines.
This flight connection means a great deal for airport Zadar because this line is the first one connecting Zadar with any destination in Scandinavia. The only connection till now that Zadar airport had with Scandinavian countries was through summer charter flights. It is believed that this line which will start ot 1st of April through 24th os October will be a great marketing for Zadar city and surrounding region.

With regular flights from Sweden, Zadar airport is estimating increase of international travelers to 200,000. From that number 85,000 passengers will come through Ryan air airline company.
With such an increase in international passenger arrivals many other airport related services are expected to experience increase in their business. These services include nearby hotels, airport Zadar taxi service, tour guides, rent  car companies and many other such services.
