Krka Falls - National Park Croatia

Departure starts from the bus station near Villa Cezar (hotel Split airport) in Kastela Luksic. It can also be arranged for the departure to start from any hotel in Split, Kastela or “city monument” Trogir. The bus takes you, using coastal road, to city of Šibenik.

In Šibenik a guided tour of St. Jakob’s cathedral (one of Dalmatia’s most valuable religious monument built in 15th century) is organized followed by the one hour of free sightseeing or one hour of free time to relax and have a cup of coffee, it’s up to you. After that the bus continues to Krka falls National Park.
The first item on itinerary is the short boat ride to Skradinski Buk followed by sightseeing of Krka National Park. Free is till 4:30 PM when you can do Krka exploration on your own.

We recommend that you bring comfortable clothes and hiking shoes for walking through Krka National Park. Be sure to bring with you swimming suite because you can enjoy in beautiful crystal water at Skradinski buk. Another piece of equipment you should not forget is your camera because you will definitely make your friends jealous when showcasing the natural wonder you visited.

ancient-mills-croatiaThe sightseeing cruise to Skradinski Buk and back lasts around 2 hours. At Skradinski Buk you can take a walk on footpaths and various bridges along cascading formations. Visitors to Skradinski Buk can also visit the ethnographic collection and old mills where the grain is milled with a millstone. Krka millstones are turned by the force of the water, as well as beautiful ancient devices for washing clothing and textiles. All in all visiting Krka National Park is a trip that will remain in your memory for as long as you live.

The bus tour to Krka National Park includes bus transfer, boat ride, Krka National Park entrance fee and a guided tour.

ITINERARY:

- Departure from the hotel according to the plan

10:30 – Arrival in Sibenik, sightseeing of Sibenik, visiting the st. Jakobs
Cathedral. Free time for individual activities.

13:00 – Arrival at the National Park «Krka»,
sightseeing of National Park «Krka»,
free time for enjoying in National Park

16:30 – Departure from NP «Krka»

18:30 – Return to Split
