A new project for preserving the quality and the cleanliness of the Adriatic sea in Makarska has just been finished to the happiness of every Croatian citizen. With this new equipment worth over 5 million Kunas, all waste water being dumped into the sea now is being purified before being poured into the sea.

This is a second of three phases of creating an eco-friendly sewage in Makarska. This second step which was just finished separates all molecules larger that 3 millimeters from the water. After this step in the new tank, all the grease and foam are also removed from the water which is then released into the sea.
