We have received the following question regarding adventure tourism in Croatia and have decided to post it here so it can be helpful to others as well:

"We are planning a tour for a large group in the fall and are considering Dubrovnik as the destination. Could you inform me of what type of activities - in the more adventurous category - there are in the area? I have seen your Konavle Jeep Safari and that looks very interesting. How many persons would you be able to accommodate (meaning - how many jeeps do you have)? Are there other activities such as rafting, climbing, caves or similar for a young group?"

At the moment for the Jeep Safari; 12 jeeps are available, each fitting 5 persons, as one of the person would be driving the jeep, so the maximum capacity for this trip is about 55-57 persons (we have to leave a few seats for the guides). Other than the jeep safari I would recommend White water rafting, with boats that fit up to 8 persons, there are several boats available so this type of excursion would be available for about 50 persons at once.

There are possibilities for Rock climbing, Caving and Paintball in the Dubrovnik area -but I would need to know how many persons you will be.

If you will be a smaller group, up to 10 persons Diving excursion, Speed Boat Riding and Sailing are available.

In any case let us know how many persons you will be, as depending on that some other possibilities might be available.
